Album: Trying To Fit The Ocean In A Cup
Title: Savior, Please Keep Saving Me
As I listened to the music, I found myself praying, as the lyrics connect.
No matter how much time has passed between us, I still need God today, as much as I did when I first believed.
The melody is really addicting. I can’t get it out of my head. Josh Wilson‘s voice is oh so melancholy sweet. Isn’t life sorta like that sometimes? Josh is able to hit the sweet spot of singing with emotion on a message that’s both personal and shared.
What really made this song for me were the words. So good.
The second stanza especially stood out:
Savior, please help me stand.
I fall so hard, I fade so fast.
Will you begin right where I end?
And be the God of all I am because you’re all I have.
Man, I keep replaying this song, just to hear him sing those lines. Nice.
Hope you enjoy. May it give you a Happy-Friday lift.
So, what do you think? Like it?
Savior, Please Keep Saving Me - By Josh Wilson Savior, please take my hand. I work so hard, I live so fast. This life begins, then it ends. And then I do the best that I can, but I don't know how long I'll last. I try to be so tough, but I'm just not strong enough. I can't do this alone, God I need you to hold on to me. I try to be good enough, but I'm nothing without your love. Savior, please keep saving me. Savior, please help me stand. I fall so hard, I fade so fast. Will you begin right where I end? And be the God of all I am because you're all I have. Hallelujah! Everything you are to me is everything I'll ever need. and i am learning to believe cause you're the one who's saving me.
