Happy New Year!
I wish you the best of everything good and beautiful. We have a fresh new year for God to fill.
Whatever you’re doing today, enjoy thoroughly — the simple, the small, the everyday – God is there. May He give us just what we need and even more.
This Faith Barista is taking a week off blogging to retreat to my Whitespace.
It’s my way of giving the first fruits of the year to quiet and be filled.
We each have a different way of giving our first fruits. May God’s heart be warmed and filled with the hidden ways that we offer ourselves to Him.
I’ll be back in very soon, eager to serve up some new faith blends – hot and fresh!
I’ll be missing every moment … and remembering you in the new year.
My heart is not proud, O LORD,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.But I have stilled and quieted my soul;
like a weaned child with its mother,
like a weaned child is my soul within me.Psalm 131: 1,2
How are you spending the day?

I’ll look forward to reading about your latest blends. They’ll mix well with everything, I’m sure.
May 2010 bring you joy, peace, fun, and love.
Thanks, Maureen! Hey, you threw in “fun” in your well wishes list. Thank you. I will take that! May the new year bring the same to you!
Enjoy your whitespace! May this be a time of quiet refection and thanksgiving as 2010 begins. Happy New Year and I look forward to your unique style of sharing; love it.
Blessings,
Debbie
I will! I’m looking forward to what I will be receiving … “love it” – What encouraging words — thank you — you just blessed me!

I discovered your blog on New Year’s Day. I look forward to reading more this year!
How special is that! Happy New Year, Karen!
stilled and quieted … a great place to be
Spoken by another fellow whitespace seeker, I bet. 🙂
Unplugging is a great way to start off the year. I found that reading through the Bible in the month of December was a great way to finish off 2009.

How word-filled are you!? That is a VERY special way to start of the year – God will surely “activate” those words you’ve taken in. Yes – unplugging is a luxury I make sure to get in!
As usual, it’s a struggle to find whitespace in my overflowing life…but you’ve inspired me to set aside specific time to seek it this year. Thanks, Bonnie, and may your whitespace find you renewed, refreshed, and reinvigorated! Looking forward to hearing more insights from you in the coming year. 🙂
I did have a great whitespace time — though it was hard to unplug! But, it was worth it.
I hope you’re off to a great start yourself!
Wishing you the best of everything good and beautiful in 2010 too!
Thanks, Genny! I’m catching up and I’m looking forward to reading your (In)Courage post. I have a hunch, as always, it’ll make me smile.
Hey, Bonnie! I hope you are enjoying your whitespace and that it has been a time of renewal for you. Just stopping by to say hello!!
Great to get your hello! I hope your own unplugging & fasting has reaped renewal for you too. Yes? 😉
Hi Bonnie. I love the idea of the Saturday morning whitespace. I’m going to try and work that into my schedule. Happy New Year and I look forward to your inspirational posts in 2010.
Jackie
Thanks, Jackie. It makes me smile to hear the words here can inspire. I hope you can carve some in. A little time away does a big difference .. really good.
🙂
🙂 right back!
May your retreat be everything you are hoping for.
It was. It’s always hard unplugging at first.. but, by the end, it’s so worth it. I hope the year’s off to a good start for you, too! Thanks!
Bonnie- Hope you enjoyed the Whitespace. You are setting a good example for the rest of us!
Happy New Year to you and your family, and I look forward to more of your tasty posts!
Thanks, Bradley! The new year wouldn’t be the same without you. Seriously. You’ve changed the brand “camel” for me, from here on out. May God’s work continue to flow in you & through you at work and within your online words that are always fresh and new – they’re *you*.
