Book Promotion Giveaway – New Leaf Publishing (Sponsored Post)

By Bonnie Gray • December 13, 2010 • 53 Comments
New Leaf Publishing is hosting a special Christmas giveaway on the blog today!

New Leaf Publishing has released some new titles and have put together three gift packages as a promotion this month —

“Mornings and Evenings Devotionals” by Charles Spurgeon plus Classic Journal

NLP_ChildrensPackage“The Children’s Illustrated Bible” plus “Passports To The World”

NLP_WashingtonPackage“Life of Washington” Plus “For You They Signed”

I got to pick one set to keep and was given a second set to give away to one Faith Barista reader.

Wonder which set I picked?

Let me ask you first:   Which book package would you pick, if you could win one? (Click on each title for more description.)

ENTER TO WIN

BY SUN 12/19/10 Midnight PST.

Leave a comment with your book package pick: (#1) Devotional Package, (#2) Children’s Package, or (#3) Patriot’s Package.

You’ll be entered to win the very package you pick!

For extra entries:  Click on the “Share” button at the bottom of today’s post to Facebook or Tweet (use #NLPGiveaway).  Leave additional comments letting me know.  You’re entered again!

Two computer-generated winners have been randomly selected!

Congratulations to: #8 Samana@TheKelleyEight!
Thank you to everyone who entered and took the time to share your pick. It was fun to see your choices! Me? I waffled between the Washington bio (I love biographies!) and the Children’s Bible. The mom in me won out & I picked the Children’s pack.

Thanks again to New Leaf Publishing for hosting today’s giveaway! Connect with NLP on the web, Twitter, Facebook, and their blog.

I would pick the devotional because I seem to have a really hard time finding devotionals I like (maybe I’m just too picky??!:)

And I have considered doing more journaling lately due to recent circumstances in my life. I feel like this weekend I learned so much and realized I need to “document” all of these things, so I can look back and see how God walked me through.

Thanks for your blog. It’s so encouraging to me!

Package #3 sounds like an interesting read.

  • Reply rjb December 15, 2010 at 6:07 am

I would DEFINITELy pick package #2. My daughter loves to read and loves to read together with me and my husband. I know the Bible would capture her interest and teach her a love of God’s Word early. Plus, I would love to share about the world with her, especially as an International Affairs major who travelled to some far away places for work (before baby!). I remember loving books and photos of other countries when I was growing up. I’d love to introduce her to some of my interests, and this package combines two of them!

(As an aside, I so would pick package #3 for myself and my husband. We love history, especially history of our country!)

To all of those who chose package #1, I have those devotionals, and they are great!

  • Reply Mandie December 16, 2010 at 6:17 pm

I would pick the devotional set.
