Dear Friends,
Last week’s Facebook LIVE: Soul Care and Finding Peace was so exciting! It’s now recorded and saved — so you can watch and enjoy it by clicking here. Thanks for letting me know although some of you couldn’t make it, you’d like to enjoy watching it.
I got to talk to thousands of you live right from my living room! It was raining that morning and cloudy, but there was sunshine was in my soul — as I got to see your hellos and comments run through on Facebook — and we got to swap some stories using comments on Facebook! Here below are the questions I was asked – which I answered in the video…

I wanted to ask your thoughts – I believe in the power of prayer and have been blessed through prayer, but in my prayers for healing or energy to combat depression and anxiety I haven’t received. Do you think that God has a plan for us suffering from these illnesses, something to be learned or gained from it? Or is it not something be bestows on his children?

Hi Bonnie, Due to a traumatic childhood, my father image is distorted and I am not able to speak from my heart to God, though I can picture myself with Jesus. I feel so dry spiritually. I am not sure how to get past this. Any tips from your experience or from others you have spoken with?
Pull up a chair and encourage your heart with these 3 Soul Care Practices. I answer your questions on Facebook Live about calming anxiety and experiencing peace.

hi rachelle! i LOVE peppermint tea too! every night, that’s how I end the day – no matter what craziness has happened. we are kindred spirits!! oh, decaf peppermint mocha! can you make that two for us?
Hi Bonnie. Thank you for your words this morning. It’s what God wanted me to hear and it truly encouraged my soul. The soul care that speaks to me the most is spending time with Him and my pups outdoors. Just like you, I love trees. Also there is nothing more beautiful to me in God’s Creation than Flowers. They make me smile. Sending you love and have a beautiful weekend. I can’t wait to read your new book. Much Love.
hi veronica, it makes me feel safe and supported knowing friends like you are there sending me love and supporting me to release book #2. There will be a Beloved book launch team and I hope you can join! sounds like we are kindred spirits – puppies, flowers, trees — yep! it’s confirmed. we are soul care kindred! hugs to you from CA.
Hi Bonnie, yes I would be happy to join the Beloved book launch team. From one soul care kindred to another. Have a beautiful weekend.
I am about to watch your video but I truly understand how the Father image is difficult, mine left when I was two, though I had a Christian family, I never associated with the perfect love of of the Father, I couldn’t imagine giving His Son. But if you draw close to Jesus, He will lead you, because His words are still true, He and the Father are one. If you see Him you see the Father, and He prayed for the Father to love you.
hi becky, i think a lot of us feel the way you do – we love God and Jesus – and grew up knowing His ways, yet we don’t have the *experience* of a loving Father, so it is naturally foreign – but as you encourage us – if we draw close to Jesus, we experience the Father’s embrace! thnx for sharing so vulnerably!
I just got time to watch this. You give me so much hope. When I get discouraged that I will never feel better, it helps to know that you have journeyed before me. Thank you so much for sharing your story. It is so beautiful to see you glowing with joy and energy.
