Readers Ask: I’m Overwhelmed by Critical Voices, Too Many To Do’s, Perfectionism, Parenting/Marital Struggles – How Can I Get Unstuck & Stay Inspired?

By Bonnie Gray • February 20, 2017 • 4 Comments

Are you feeling overwhelmed by critical voices, too many to do’s, perfectionism, feelings of depression, anxiety in the midst of everyday life realities – like parenting struggles, marital strife and just the challenges of getting from day to day?

I’m here to tell you right now: you are NOT disqualified from being inspired by God to do what God’s prompted you to do.  You can get unstuck and stay inspired. Just as you are.

Why? Because you are His beloved.

“But, HOW?” you ask. “Bonnie, how can I stay inspired when I feel stuck by all these things?”

Well, thank you for asking — because I’m just bursting at the seams to tell you, sweet kindred! 🙂 Last week, I had the special treat of spending Sunday afternoon with you on my Facebook Livestream — to answer your questions. I’ve journeyed through many valleys and meadows, speaking to thousands as retreat leader and I want to share my gems of encouragement with you. Honestly and vulnerably.

Click here to watch the recorded video Live Beloved: Getting Unstuck and Staying Inspired.  Who can you encourage with this video? Share the link with a friend and encourage her heart!

Here below are the questions I was asked – that you posted here on the blog and on social media — which I answered in the video…

But, first..

I revealed my new book cover! Whispers of Rest: 40 Days of God’s Love to Revitalize Your Soul will be born on May 2, 2017!

Day by day, for three years, I’ve poured my heart into writing this 40 day devotional detox for your soul .

Whispers of Rest is a guidebook to refresh your soul — sharing my most vulnerable stories, loving whispers from God, soul care to spark joy, and simple prayer practices to deepen intimacy with God — with His peace and presence.

100 FREE COPIES will be gifted by FaithWords to friends who help review & launch this book with me. Everyone who joins my book launch team will get sample chapters to review. I’ll nurture a private Beloved Facebook Group to encourage the Launch Team.  Click here to sign up & join my Beloved Launch team.

?What would happen if every day, for the next 40 days, you soaked in God’s love for you? I can’t wait to see what you’ll discover! I’m SO excited to take you in a new journey!

You can Pre-order the book now by clicking here. I’m going to host Online Book Club when the book releases, so get your copies ready — and be sure to invite a friend! My hands are shaking but your support steadies my heart. Thank you for your love and kinship! Let’s do this together!

Hi Bonnie! I was inspired throughout the entire sweet video, but one part in particular resonated with me to perfection with my current project. When you were discussing the four phases, that was me exactly! My immense joy over beginning a new project is so quickly deflated when I let myself worry about the end result. I need to stay in the inspired bliss of phase one longer to let creativity flow instead of stifling what God has put in my heart. It can be a challenge taking things one little step at a time… so often we want to see that end result even before we begin! Thank you for encouraging our hearts, friend!
