When you come to a fork in the road, Jesus whispers, “Don’t worry for tomorrow. Let me love you today. Look at my hand holding yours. I’ll walk with you ahead.”
This is the whisper of love I’m hearing from God this Christmas, that I wanted to send to you, dear friends!
The dishes from Christmas Eve are washed and the kids are waiting for me and Eric to join them for some hot cocoa. 🙂 But, I told them, I just needed a few minutes to wish a Merry Christmas to my sweet kindreds here on the blog.
I’m thinking of you and saying a prayer if thanks for you in my life of words and faith on this journey together! Because without you, I wouldn’t have friends across the miles to share the stories and encouragement He’s put on my heart.
Without your support this year, as I released my 40day devotional “Whispers of Rest” (Because of you, Whispers of Rest has ranked Top 100 on Amazon for 7 months straight in Worship & Devotioons!!). I would not have this ministry of writing books as well as here on this blog, apart from your partnership! It makes me so happy to know what has blessed me is blessing you!
Hear Jesus Tenderly Whisper
As I enjoyed some quiet time in the morning, reflecting on what Jesus put on my heart this 4th week of Advent, this verse came to my heart, that I want to share with you as encouragement, as I think of you this Christmas:
“I have loved you with a love everlasting.” Jer.31:3
Hear Jesus tenderly whisper this silent night –
I’ve come so far away to be so close and so near to you today.
Nothing has ever kept me from loving you and nothing ever will. You are mine forever. Look down and see my hand folding gently into yours.
You are the star shining in my heart that sent me in the dark to be born one cold night. So I could one day make a home in your heart and my heart would be forever yours today.
”I am my beloved and my beloved is mine.”
Song of Solomon 6:3
From the moment I dreamed of you when I traced my fingerprints onto your heart, before you opened your eyes & took your first breath, you have always been my beloved. And I can’t wait to see you one day face to face, so you can feel my loving arms hold you against me into eternity. For now, we have each other and every night.
Love has come down for you. And love will never leave you.
For I am your beloved and you are mine.
Christmas is the day any suffering and every joy you’ve ever tasted becomes part of my memories and the story I live out with you day by day. For you are mine and I am yours. Forever.
“For into you a child is born today.
And He shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.”
Merry Christmas from the Gray Family to you and yours! (Me, Eric, Caleb (8), Josh (12))
May you feel as beloved and beautiful as you truly. This very moment. For you are!
